Easy & Healthy Turkey Burgers


A homemade staple of mine, that is so much easier than you think to make, are turkey burgers. You can pretty much add in any flavours or seasonings that you like and they taste incredible!

Ingredients (per person):
250g 2% or 7% turkey mince
finely chopped onion
garlic gloves (or powder if you're lazy like me)
salt
chilli flakes & paprika - or any other seasonings you like

Method:
1. Break up your mince in a bowl (with your fingers, this gets messy). 
2. Add in your finely chopped onion, garlic, salt and seasonings. Mix well. 
3. Form to shape 2-3 burgers and pat together tightly.
4. Prepare a hot pan with olive oil/cooking spray and place the burgers in the pan.
5. Cook on both sides for 5-8 minutes, until brown and cooked all the way through.
6. Serve! 

I enjoy mine on bagel thins, burger thins or just naked on a salad! You could also add some homemade sweet potato fries for a guilt-free treat meal.
