Spicy Turkey Meatballs & Courgetti

One of my staple favourite meals are these spicy turkey meatballs served with courgetti. It's pretty simple and quick to make and you could even pop it in a slow cooker rather than stand over the hob. The amount below just serves one but the recipe is much easier to make when you batch cook and then save a few portions.

200g lean turkey mince
1/2 red onion - finely chopped
small carton of passata (or tinned tomatoes if you want a thicker consistency)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
spiralised courgette

1. Mix your turkey mince with the finely chopped onion and season with salt and pepper.
2. Mould into meatballs (not too big as they will fall apart).
3. Place in a pan over a medium heat and keep turning until brown.
4. Pour in your passata and add the rest of the ingredients (apart from the courgette).
5. Allow to simmer for around 20 minutes.
6. Serve with spiralised courgette or pasta.
